Education Day Trips to Take This Summer

The state of North Carolina is filled with educational spots to take your child to this summer. You want to keep the learning going over the summer, so incorporating field trips is a great way to exercise their brain without them even knowing.

This house museum has 22 rooms that your kids can explore in Kernersville. Old architecture, artworks and a theater that performs plays.


Get a behind the scenes look at the racetrack, cars and garage. Kids can get a lesson on the history of the speedway as well as the automobile history, all in an exciting experience.

Located in Asheville, you and your kids can see the process of how chocolate is made and get to taste test everything that is made. This tour can give your children an understanding of how food gets from the farm to the table.

Visit a safari in Mooresville! A 3.5 mile strip of exotic animals can be seen from your car. Take a wagon ride through the safari and introduce your children to all kinds of animals.
